Hello Penguins! With a brand new Penguin Style catalog coming out on Friday, we thought we'd get you thinking wigs. So we want to give you a challenge: Get as many of your penguin friends as you can into an area -- with wigs! The more wigs, the better! The wackier the wigs, the better! Update: Rockhopper in Walt Disney World!
Hello Penguins!So many of you told us you're excited about the news that Rockhopper will be visiting Walt Disney World in Florida! Our favorite pirate penguin will be there from April 30 - May 13th.There are lots of us who won't be able to go, and I don't know about you, but I'd love to hear what it's like to meet him. Medieval Party Sneak Peek!
Hello Penguins! Where do knights go to get something to eat?To an "all knight" diner!A lot of you tell us the Medieval Party is one of your all time favorite parties in Club Penguin so I wanted to give you a bit of a sneak peek (shhhh!) of what you'll see this year. We're bringing back some of the stuff you said was the coolest... and there will be new things, too.I've heard tales of a dragon in the Mine... and that the Coffee Shop and Pizza Parlor will be fit for royalty (and jesters, too)! For members, there will be a Knight's Quest that we hope you'll think is really fun. Screenhog on Sled Race Upgrades!
Hi everyone, it's Screenhog!Friday is a big day for one of Club Penguin's oldest games. Sled Racing, which is one of the five original games that has been around since Club Penguin launched, is getting some upgrades. First, starting Friday, you'll be able to buy a toboggan and ride down the hill with it. This traditional sled will be available at the Ski Hill, and if you hold it while you enter the game, you'll get to ride it!Secondly, Sled Racing is finally getting something that most of the other games have always had... music. Have you ever noticed how much cooler games like Aqua Grabber, Catchin' Waves, and Card-Jitsu are with music in the background? Well, Sled Racing is getting some pretty cool music in it too. Of course, if you're the type of person who likes to have the sound off, the mute button in your Settings is still right there... it's okay, we won't be offended! :)Now, here's one last thing just for fun. Have you ever wanted to see a slow motion replay of the crash your penguin makes in Sled Racing.In Other News: Billybob just passed on some news about Rockhopper in Walt Disney World in Florida. As you know, Captain Rockhopper will be there from April 30 - May 13. We just found out that he'll be at Disney's Hollywood Studios while he's there, so get out your pirate maps and mark the spot! Penguins Getting Paid!
Hello Penguins!
Have you ever thought about taking the quizzes to become a tour guide or PSA (Penguin Secret Agent)? If your penguin is old enough, and you're interested in helping out around the island, you might want to consider the challenge... It's going to be announced in the newspaper later this week that starting May 1st, penguins will get paid every month for doing those jobs!

I don't want to give all the details away just yet (Aunt Arctic, the editor of the Club Penguin Times, will have an update soon), but let me say it'll be worth your while. Let us know... What's the first thing you'd do with extra coins every month? Do you like to spend or do you like to save?

Rockhopper in Walt Disney World!
Hello Penguins!
Whenever Rockhopper lands in Club Penguin, things get exciting. You often let us know that you love hanging out with him! So we're thrilled to share some very, very special news - our own pirate penguin, Captain Rockhopper, will be making an in-person appearance in Walt Disney World in Florida!! He'll arrive at the park on April 30th and be there until May 13th. It's a really special event for the community that's possible because we're part of the Disney family, and we're really excited to hear what you think about it!
During the 2 weeks that Rockhopper's in the Park, if you get the chance to go, we'd love to hear what it's like meeting him in-person! We know not everyone will be able to be there, so we'll be posting some updates straight from the event. And (just for fun) we were wondering... If you did get to see Rockhopper there in person, what would you say to him?

Greetings Penguins!
We've got some new furniture coming tomorrow in the Better Igloos catalog. I got a glimpse and I thought I'd ask some questions so you could get a better idea about what's involved in planning furniture fashion around here.

Where do you get your ideas for making furniture and items for igloos?We love getting ideas from players and it's fun to pay attention to what's going on in the game. If players are saying they want something, we try to make it!
Have you ever considered making couches out of candy?Yes. I remember there was talk about it around the holidays. So far we haven't but we'll have to wait and see.
What's your fave furniture item of all time?I really like the Koi Pond because of the animated fish. I have three in my igloo.
We'd love to hear any furniture items you'd love to see designed -- Let us know.
